Qt Developer – Railway Traffic Management System

About the role

Médiane Benelux is seeking a Qt Developer to join a long‑term mission in the railway sector. You will contribute to the modernization of a critical traffic and safety management system, working on both legacy and newly engineered Qt‑based user interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑precision Qt user interfaces for the traffic management system.
• Produce technical documentation for software modules and system components.
• Participate in safety and security activities such as Threat & Risk Analysis (TRA) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
• Support the full software development lifecycle, from architecture to detailed design.
• Collaborate with the team to improve engineering methodology, tools, and organization.

Required profile

• Meticulous and precise, especially in safety‑critical contexts.
• Strong communicator and effective team player.
• Proactive, motivated, and able to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
• Fluent in French and English.

Required skills

• Expert knowledge of Qt / Qt Framework.
• Strong C development experience.
• Linux development and debugging experience.
• Proficiency with Git version control.
• Nice‑to‑have experience with Rust, Java, or Python.
