Project Manager

About the role

Phinest, a Belgian management consulting firm serving BEL20 and similar companies, is looking for a Project Manager to lead strategic projects across sectors such as utilities, pharma, banking, retail, transport, public and telecom. You will work in a human-sized organisation that delivers large-scale impact.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end delivery of projects, from initiation through closure, managing scope, schedule, resources, risks and budget.
• Ensure resource availability and allocate team members appropriately.
• Develop detailed project plans, track progress and monitor deliverables.
• Report status and escalate issues to senior management as needed.
• Maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders and manage communications.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks.
• Produce and keep up-to-date project documentation.
• Lead and coach project team members.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Management or Business.
• 2-10 years of proven project-management experience.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and organisational abilities.
• Comfort operating in a multicultural, matrix environment and juggling multiple priorities.
• Strategic communication skills for diverse stakeholder audiences.
• Effective time-management, proactive, autonomous and adaptable.

Required skills

• Project planning and scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
• Risk management methodologies.
• Budget and resource management.
