Project Manager

About the role

Spektrum is seeking a Project Manager to support the NATO Communication and Information Agency (NCIA) programmes. The role involves overseeing key client projects that deliver secure communications, cyber security, satellite services and electronic warfare capabilities for NATO members.

Key responsibilities

• Manage projects to ensure delivery within agreed scope, schedule, cost and quality tolerances.
• Develop and maintain detailed project, resource and stage plans in line with NCIA directives and best‑practice project management methodologies.
• Coordinate with NATO International Civilians, military personnel and interim workforce consultants to align resources and milestones.
• Identify risks, plan mitigation actions and report progress to senior stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with security and operational standards required for defence and aerospace projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex projects in defence, aerospace or related high‑security environments.
• Strong understanding of NATO or similar multinational procurement and delivery frameworks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across international teams.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to evolving technical and operational requirements.

Required skills

• Project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, PMI).
• Familiarity with defence‑related IT and communications systems.
• Risk assessment and mitigation planning.
