Project Finance Officer

About the role

Join the Treasury & Economic Analysis team at JERA Nex bp and help unlock the value of offshore wind. As a Project Finance Officer you will support the financing and bankability of offshore wind projects, working closely with internal committees, partners, lenders and advisors.

Key responsibilities

• Perform financial modelling, structuring and scenario analysis, coordinating with stakeholders to gather up‑to‑date information.
• Participate in project development from a financing perspective, interacting with internal committees, partners, lenders and advisors.
• Support discussions with existing and potential project‑finance lenders throughout development processes.
• Assist in the preparation and review of due‑diligence reports.
• Prepare or supervise bank reporting and covenant follow‑up for existing offshore wind financings.
• Monitor financing trends in offshore wind and the broader renewable industry.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in finance and/or engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in project finance or power‑sector financing.
• Proven experience in Excel economic modelling.
• Team‑player with strong analytical and communication skills.
• Hands‑on, responsible and structured approach.
