Programme Associate – Biotech Startup Programme

About the role

We are looking for a Programme Associate to support Biotope’s early‑stage biotech venture programme. You will work closely with founders, investors, mentors and partners to turn breakthrough biotech ideas into investable startups.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the scouting pipeline and coordinate the twice‑yearly application calls, from outreach to follow‑up.
• Organise and deliver the three‑week Basecamp programme for selected startups.
• Maintain Biotope’s online presence, including LinkedIn, website and newsletters, and assist with marketing activities.
• Plan and execute networking, investor and community events, and represent Biotope at relevant conferences.
• Provide day‑to‑day operational support, ensuring projects and events stay on schedule.
• Contribute to new initiatives as the programme grows.

Required profile

• Strong interest in entrepreneurship, biotech innovation and startup creation.
• Ownership mindset with a “get things done” attitude.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Master’s degree in life sciences, business, engineering, innovation management or equivalent experience.
• Exposure to biotech startups, venture building or deep‑tech environments is a plus.
• Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken.
