Production Engineering Lead – Precision Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for a Production Engineering Lead to drive the optimisation of our high‑tech mechanical assembly lines at Xeryon’s headquarters in Leuven. In this full‑time position you will manage a team of five Production Engineers, champion Lean Manufacturing and lead automation projects to deliver world‑class efficiency and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Production Engineers, allocating tasks and monitoring progress.
• Identify bottlenecks and apply Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce waste and lead times.
• Plan and execute automation projects that add clear qualitative and strategic value.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis of quality issues and implement long‑term solutions.
• Manage continuous‑improvement projects from conception to delivery, controlling budgets and timelines.
