About the role
Alcon is seeking a National Sales Manager for the Belgium and Luxembourg (BeLux) region to lead its Surgical Field Sales team. The role combines strategic account management with hands‑on leadership to drive growth of Alcon’s surgical portfolio and ensure customers experience the full value of innovative eye‑care technologies.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies for key customer accounts to meet revenue, volume and value targets.
- Build and maintain long‑term relationships with eye‑care professionals, demonstrating Alcon’s latest surgical technologies.
- Negotiate commercial contracts in line with business objectives and compliance standards.
- Coach, train and manage a high‑performing sales team, overseeing performance and professional development.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align commercial activities with market needs.
Required profile
- Degree in Business, Life Sciences or related field.
- Proven experience in medical device sales management, preferably ophthalmology.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing and developing sales teams.
- Fluency in Dutch, French and English.
