Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

We are a Belgian engineering consulting firm supporting SMEs and large industrial organisations in turning innovation and R&D projects into reality. We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our consultancy team and work on complex industrial equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed mechanical plans and designs using SolidWorks.
• Design welded assemblies and large‑scale welded structures.
• Participate in the development and continuous improvement of complex industrial equipment.
• Perform technical analysis of drawings and understand equipment functionalities.
• Collaborate with project teams and contribute to technical coordination.
• Work on large‑dimension structures and specific technical environments.

Required profile

• Mechanical engineering degree (mandatory).
• Proven experience in industrial mechanical design.
• Strong analytical ability and functional understanding of equipment.
• Attention to detail and technical rigor.
• Technical curiosity and openness to new ideas.
