Local Growth & Field Community Lead

About the role

Lightspeed is looking for a dynamic Local Growth & Field Community Lead to connect hyper‑locally with hospitality customers and prospects across key cities in the Netherlands and Belgium. You will own the local vibe and growth strategy, blending event planning, content creation, and relationship management to keep Lightspeed top‑of‑mind as the preferred tech partner.

Key responsibilities

• Map and enlist top existing customers as "anchor" partners for high‑impact events.
• Identify and build relationships with prospects, influencers, trade associations, and other local stakeholders.
• Design, execute, and measure a variety of local events—from breakfasts to late‑night networking—hosted at customer sites.
• Capture raw customer stories on‑site and collaborate with the social team to produce video snippets and case studies.
• Keep field sales materials up‑to‑date with fresh data and stories from your cities.
• Partner with regional marketing managers, field sales, account managers, product marketing, social media specialists, and partnership marketing to align tactics and drive revenue.
• Track offline activities against online growth, linking events and influencer campaigns to pipeline and sales metrics.
• Produce monthly data‑backed reports that illustrate the impact of marketing activities on brand engagement and sales.

Required profile

• Proven experience in community building, event planning, or field marketing within a B2B SaaS environment.
• Strong storytelling ability and comfort creating on‑the‑fly video content.
• Analytical mindset with the capability to tie offline actions to measurable sales outcomes.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work across multiple internal teams.
