Knitwear Designer

About the role

Colorush, a female‑founded luxury Belgian cashmere brand, is looking for a creative Knitwear Designer to lead its design team. You will shape collections from concept to production, working remotely and on‑site with a dynamic, cross‑functional team.

Key responsibilities

• Research trends in knitwear, print, and colour, and translate insights into product designs using Adobe Illustrator.
• Create mood boards, colour palettes, and detailed technical specifications for overseas factories.
• Collaborate with the technical department, attend fittings, and document meeting minutes.
• Partner with the Creative Director on four main collections and private‑label projects.
• Lead the lab‑dip process from research to production.
• Present ideas confidently to Directors and Sales Agents.
• Manage critical paths to meet product launch deadlines.
• Support the creation of seasonal lookbooks, workbooks, and colour cards.
• Provide garment‑related material to the Sales team and assist on photoshoots when needed.
• Contribute to sustainability initiatives and streamline design workflows.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience in knitwear or fashion design (internships count).
• Passion for luxury knitwear and sustainability.
• Strong trend awareness, colour, print, and detail orientation.
• Excellent English communication, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently, remotely, and meet tight deadlines.
• Team player with strong organisational skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign.
