Junior Legal Associate

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Legal Associate to join our Corporate Legal department in Wondelgem, Belgium. This entry‑level position is designed for recent law graduates who want to start their legal career in the pharmaceutical industry.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in drafting, reviewing and negotiating various agreements, including clinical trial agreements, confidentiality agreements, licensing deals and vendor contracts.
• Support compliance initiatives related to pharmaceutical regulations, GDPR, anti‑bribery laws and industry codes of conduct.
• Conduct legal research on applicable laws, regulations and emerging industry trends, and translate findings into practical business guidance.
• Leverage AI‑driven legal tools and automation technologies to improve contract review, legal research and document management, and help develop automated templates and self‑service tools.
• Identify opportunities to streamline legal workflows and contribute to internal guidance on the responsible use of AI.
• Maintain organized and up‑to‑date legal documentation, including contract repositories and knowledge‑management systems.
• Report to the Corporate Legal Counsel.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in law.
• Fluent in English.
