Junior Accounting & Tax Consultant (Start Aug 2026)

About the role

PwC is looking for recent graduates or soon‑to‑be graduates to join its Tax Reporting & Strategy team in Ghent as Junior Accounting & Tax Consultants starting in August 2026. The role blends accounting, tax compliance, technology and international exposure, offering a solid foundation for a finance career.

Key responsibilities

• Support clients with bookkeeping, periodic and year‑end closings, and preparation of Belgian financial statements.
• Assist clients in meeting tax filing deadlines, navigating new regulations and providing strategic tax advice.
• Work on a broad range of accounting and tax topics for domestic and international clients, including multi‑territory finance projects.
• Improve finance processes through data handling, automation and digital tools.
• Contribute to special projects such as implementing new accounting or tax laws, group reorganisations and international tax initiatives.
• Collaborate with global teams on cross‑border assignments.

Required profile

• Graduating soon or recently completed a degree in accounting, finance, economics or a related field.
• Strong curiosity for tax, accounting and emerging technologies.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast‑changing environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with both local and global clients.
