Internship - Transaction Services Sales

About the role

ING is looking for an intern for its Transaction Services Sales team in Brussels. The intern works closely with the TS Sales team members and supports them in promoting business for corporate clients. The team covers Payments, Trade Finance and Working Capital and aims to strengthen relationships with Belgian corporates.

Key responsibilities

• Support the TS experts and manager with the preparation and execution of deals and projects
• Liaise with internal stakeholders such as product teams, credit review, risk and legal teams on client account planning, credit review and documentation negotiation
• Map out new opportunities and build an understanding of ING products in the team portfolio, including Payments, Trade Finance and Working Capital
• Get in contact with the products ING offers to wholesale banking clients and work on commercial initiatives supporting Wholesale Banking's growth plan

Required profile

• Current master's student at a reputable university
• Interest in financial services; prior experience in financial services is an advantage
• Strong organisational skills and ability to handle pressure and tight deadlines
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
