Internal Auditor – Operational Audits (Brussels)

About the role

We are seeking an Internal Auditor to join a fast‑growing real‑estate company in Brussels. The role focuses on planning and executing on‑site operational audits, analysing findings and providing actionable recommendations to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and roll out audit initiatives approved by the International Audit & Risk Manager.
• Conduct on‑site operational audits covering parking management, cash handling and fraud prevention.
• Collect and analyse audit data, prepare comprehensive reports and present findings to group and local management.
• Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Perform business analyses on goals, projects, processes or data to deliver intelligence to management.
• Stay current with audit techniques and industry developments to maintain internal credibility.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Commercial Sciences or a related field.
• Fluent in French, Dutch and English.
• 1–3 years of experience in operational audit, preferably in an industrial or retail environment.
• Strong analytical and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously and take initiative.
• Team‑player attitude with flexibility and eagerness to learn.
