Finance Business Partner

About the role

We are seeking a commercially minded finance professional to join our Belgium business as a Finance Business Partner. In this role you will go beyond the numbers, providing insight and shaping the commercial and financial agenda while working closely with the local management team.

Key responsibilities

• Drive financial performance, transparency, predictability and forecast accuracy.
• Provide analytical, financial and business support to inform decision‑making.
• Support actual reporting, budgeting, forecasting and governance processes, including business reviews.
• Develop a strong understanding of the business and use financial insight to identify opportunities and improve performance.
• Lead finance and business improvement projects and support performance turnarounds.
• Prepare presentations for senior management and ensure compliance with company requirements and local legislation.
• Manage and develop the local finance team and lead internal and external audit processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Sales Controller or in a similar finance role.
• Strong experience in sales, pricing, strategy and full P&L management.
• Proven ability to work in an international, matrix organisation with significant sales volumes.
• Analytical, structured and solution‑oriented thinking with excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP.
• Experience using Google Workspace.
• Knowledge of SOX or J‑SOX compliance frameworks.
