SAP FICO Solution Architect

About the role

As a SAP Finance Solution Architect you will lead the design and delivery of sustainable finance solutions using the latest SAP technologies. You will work closely with customers, stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful implementations and translate business objectives into scalable finance architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive solution designs, architecture diagrams, and technical design documentation to guide implementation teams.
• Provide expert guidance on best practices, configuration options, and system integrations to optimise finance functionality.
• Collaborate with project managers, business analysts and technical teams to deliver projects within scope, timeline and budget.
• Coach, train and support junior consultants throughout the engagement.
• Stay updated on the latest finance features, enhancements and industry trends to continuously improve solution design and delivery.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in a financial environment and at least 10 years in large SAP project implementations.
• Proven experience as a SAP FICO Solution Architect with deep knowledge of the SAP FICO portfolio, including S/4HANA evolutions.
• Strong understanding of financial processes and their interaction with other operational processes.
• Thorough knowledge of Finance & Controlling modules (New GL, AA, AP, AR, CCA, PC, PS) and their integration with MM, SD, PP.
• Ability to analyse and resolve issues in standard customisation or specific SAP programs (ABAP).
