HR Generalist - Hospitality
Pandox Belgium · Bruxelles
Job description
About the role
Hilton Brussels Grand Place and Hotel Indigo Brussels City are looking for an experienced, hands-on HR Generalist to join their team in January 2027. You will support managers and employees and manage a broad range of HR topics with a high level of autonomy. The role starts with Hilton Brussels Grand Place and Hotel Indigo Brussels City, then evolves over time across other hotels in the Pandox portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Act as a trusted HR advisor for employees, Heads of Department and General Managers across both hotels.
- Manage day-to-day HR follow-up: contracts, amendments, absences, renewals, onboarding, offboarding and employee files.
- Work with Partena, the external payroll provider, ensuring accurate and timely transmission of HR data and following up on payroll questions.
- Monitor time and attendance in Protime and follow up with managers.
- Support employee engagement, well-being and retention through internal initiatives and regular presence on the floor.
- Coordinate training and development: identify needs, organise sessions and promote learning opportunities.
- Handle occupational health matters and long-term sickness follow-up with external partners.
- Prepare for and take part in Works Council, CPPT and Trade Union Delegation meetings.
- Keep Belgian labour and social legislation up to date and apply it correctly.
- Contribute to HR projects and reporting such as training plans, mobility plans and collective labour agreements.
Required profile
- Solid experience in a generalist HR role, ideally in hospitality or another operational environment.
- Good understanding of Belgian labour and social legislation.
- Comfortable managing HR matters independently and with a high level of autonomy.
- Organised, pragmatic and solution-oriented; able to handle sensitive situations and confidential information.
- Fluent in French and English; Dutch is a strong asset.
Required skills
- Experience with Protime and/or Partena is a strong asset.
What we offer
- Permanent full-time contract starting January 2027.
- Gross annual salary of EUR 51,000 to 58,000 depending on experience, plus end-of-year bonus, CCT 90 bonus, meal vouchers, eco vouchers and hospitalisation insurance, plus laptop, mobile phone and subscription.
- Close contact with General Managers, Heads of Department and operational teams.
- Training and professional development opportunities.
- Discounts on hotel stays and restaurants across the Pandox portfolio in Belgium, and access to Hilton and IHG employee discount programmes.
