About the role

The IDB Group is seeking a senior Human Resources Business Partner Lead Specialist to drive strategic people initiatives for its corporate departments and board services. Based at the Washington, D.C. headquarters, the role partners with senior leaders to translate business strategy into effective HR solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior management to shape and implement the people strategy.
• Lead strategic workforce and succession planning aligned with business objectives.
• Co‑lead annual talent reviews, promotion processes, and workforce planning cycles.
• Provide advisory support on performance cases, organizational design, and talent management.
• Present data‑driven insights to influence HR and business decision‑making.
• Collaborate with HRD ecosystem to co‑create policies on organizational development, compensation, and benefits.

Required profile

• Extensive experience partnering with senior executives on complex HR matters.
• Proven track record in strategic human capital initiatives across the employee lifecycle.
• Strong client‑centric orientation and ability to influence senior leadership.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
