Head of HR Europe & Mexico

About the role

The Head of HR Europe & Mexico will shape and execute a forward‑looking HR strategy for PSS’s sites across Europe and Mexico. Based in Dendermonde, Belgium, the role partners with business leaders to drive organizational agility, employee employability, and sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and inspire the HR Management team in Belgium, Germany, Hungary and Mexico, fostering collaboration and talent development.
• Support complex HR cases, including employee relations, reorganisations and legal matters.
• Drive organisational change initiatives, identify improvement opportunities and promote an agile culture.
• Analyse HR metrics (turnover, absenteeism, recruitment, attrition) and prepare data‑driven reports for strategic decisions.
• Provide part‑time strategic support for the Dendermonde site, overseeing HR budgeting, employee and labour relations, and compliance with employment legislation.
• Advise on complex HR matters such as employment law issues and collective labour agreements, and maintain constructive relationships with works council representatives.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Law or Business Administration.
• Minimum 10 years of HR experience, including several years in a leadership or strategic role at a European level.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, change management and organisational development.
• Experience working in an international environment and handling employee/labour relations is an advantage.
