Head of Communications, Building Performance Division

About the role

Etex, a global leader in sustainable construction, is looking for a senior communications professional to lead the Building Performance division. You will shape the division’s brand, drive internal and external communication strategies, and support its transformation journey across more than 7,000 employees worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to align communication tools, messaging and activation plans with the division’s transformation goals.
• Ensure consistent mission, purpose and brand messaging across all countries and functions.
• Develop communication frameworks, guidelines and governance for the new brand narrative.
• Design and execute internal communication plans, including town halls and team meetings, to keep employees engaged.
• Lead external communication initiatives, manage LinkedIn engagement and collaborate with marketing on targeted campaigns.
• Support branding framework development and guide country teams on local branding.
• Produce case studies, articles and presentations to showcase successes.
• Provide oversight and structure for regional communication teams, including LATAM.

Required profile

• Proven experience in both internal and external communications.
• Strong ability to align messaging across complex, global organisations.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills (native‑level or equivalent).
• Experience working with senior leaders and influencing strategy.
• Background in transformation, change communication or brand implementation is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated leadership and team‑management experience.
• Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 20‑30%).
