Group Packaging Designer

About the role

We are looking for a creative, detail‑driven Group Packaging Designer to lead the development, management and visualisation of packaging designs for our customers. You will translate brand guidelines, product data and regulatory requirements into compelling packaging concepts, both digitally and physically.

Key responsibilities

• Develop complete packaging concepts from briefings, creating high‑quality digital mock‑ups for presentations and coordinating physical mock‑ups.
• Maintain centralized ownership of all packaging designs across categories (dry, wet, treats) and formats (carton, bags, labels, pouches, aluminium, etc.) to ensure consistency.
• Verify that all designs comply with legal, ingredient declaration and country‑specific regulatory requirements using structured checklists.
• Design and implement streamlined workflows for packaging creation, including translation processes, approval flows and documentation standards.
• Collaborate closely with Key Account Managers, R&D, export and local teams to ensure feasibility and alignment with product specifications.
• Deliver rapid design updates, mock‑ups or adaptations when timelines are tight or customer needs evolve.

Required profile

• Creative and detail‑oriented packaging designer with strong visual skills.
• Experience in packaging design, preferably within FMCG, food, pet‑food or retail sectors.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and build efficient workflows.
• Clear communicator who can collaborate with internal teams and international customers.
• Proactive attitude, capable of advancing projects even when information is incomplete.
