Funding & Investor Relations Manager – Retail Bonds (Freelance)

About the role

Fastned is seeking a freelance Funding & Investor Relations Manager to lead the retail bond programme in Belgium. You will be the primary point of contact for Belgian bond investors, responsible for expanding the investor base and deepening relationships with existing bondholders.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main relationship holder for Fastned’s Belgian bond investors, managing communication during bond rounds and between issuances.
• Identify and engage new investors – family offices, high‑net‑worth individuals and professional investors – leveraging personal networks and market research.
• Convert prospects into repeat investors and build a sustainable pipeline of funding.
• Gather market intelligence from Belgian investor events and feed insights to the central team for product and marketing decisions.
• Collaborate with the Belgian marketing team to provide ground‑level investor feedback.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in private banking, wealth management or a comparable client‑facing financial services role.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and deliver results in a freelance or independent contractor setting.
• Extensive personal network within the Belgian investment community.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with a results‑oriented mindset.
