Front Office Agent

About the role

As a Front Office Agent at Motel One you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome at check‑in and a genuine farewell at departure. You will work in a multicultural team and gain insight into various hotel departments while delivering high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, manage check‑in and check‑out procedures.
• Review and process bookings, handle overbookings and reservation options.
• Issue invoices, manage payments, and perform cash handling and cash‑up tasks.
• Perform organisational and administrative duties in both front and back office, such as managing no‑shows and responding to emails.
• Collaborate with other departments to gain inter‑departmental insights and support.

Required profile

• Completed apprenticeship in the hotel trade or relevant professional experience in the hotel/catering industry, or a career changer with strong hospitality interest.
• Excellent sense of quality and service, with a passion for the hotel sector.
• Strong communication skills and solid command of English.
• Team‑player attitude, willing to assist across departments to achieve shared results.
