Experienced Auditor – Audit & Assurance

About the role

We are seeking an experienced auditor to join our audit team in Belgium. You will work closely with senior auditors on a variety of client engagements, applying your analytical mindset to deliver high‑quality audit services.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct audit procedures under the supervision of senior auditors.
• Collect and analyse financial data and other relevant information.
• Prepare clear and concise audit work papers and reports.
• Verify the accuracy and completeness of financial statements.
• Identify internal control weaknesses and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Maintain professional relationships with clients and team members.
• Stay up‑to‑date with auditing standards and regulations.

Required profile

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Commercial Engineering, Applied Economic Sciences, Mathematics, Law, Accounting, Fiscality, Tax or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in audit, accountancy or a financial environment.
• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proactive, team‑oriented and able to manage priorities and deadlines.
• Committed to technical excellence and building client relationships.
• Fluent in Dutch with strong knowledge of English and/or French.
