Europe Accessories Merchant (10‑month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

Levi Strauss & Co. is seeking a Europe Accessories Merchant to shape and execute the accessories strategy across the European market. Reporting to the Women’s & Accessories Merchandising Director, you will collaborate with global and regional teams to drive growth through consumer‑led assortments for both DTC and wholesale channels.

Key responsibilities

• Define the European accessories strategy and seasonal product brief, identifying market and consumer opportunities.
• Build assortment and segmentation plans across channels based on growth targets and performance data.
• Partner with Global Merchandising and European cross‑functional teams to influence product development and ensure European needs are represented.
• Translate market trends, competitive insights and performance metrics into actionable recommendations.
• Analyze sell‑in, sell‑out, ROS, productivity, markdowns, pricing and margin to inform future assortments.
• Shape online and offline product journeys, creating weekly and monthly product stories aligned with seasonal themes.
• Drive in‑season trading actions to maximise full‑price sales and minimise inventory risk.
• Present assortments and product strategies internally and externally, reinforcing Levi’s brand equity.
• Maintain merchandising tools and seasonal deliverables, ensuring accurate line plans, range plans and PLM data.

Required profile

• Experience in apparel and/or accessories merchandising, with exposure to retail, e‑commerce and wholesale.
• Strong analytical and commercial acumen with understanding of product performance, pricing and margin.
• Passionate about products, consumers and marketplace trends, with a proactive mindset.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to influence cross‑functional teams.
• Highly organized, adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel as required.
