Director Private Banking – Wezembeek-Oppem

About the role

You will lead and grow the Private Banking activity in Wezembeek-Oppem, taking full ownership of commercial performance and market development. As a senior leader you will inspire, coach and challenge a team of Private Bankers, while also managing your own client portfolio to contribute directly to results.

Key responsibilities

• Own the commercial performance of the Private Banking franchise in the region.
• Coach, develop and motivate a team of Private Bankers to achieve ambitious targets.
• Acquire and grow high‑net‑worth client relationships, with a focus on entrepreneurial clients.
• Leverage your local network to identify new business opportunities.
• Act as an ambassador for ING Private Banking, building strong internal and external relationships.
• Collaborate with Business Banking, Personal Banking and other segments to accelerate growth.

Required profile

• Solid experience in Private Banking and wealth management.
• Strong commercial drive with a proven record of meeting targets.
• People‑management experience or clear ambition to lead a team.
• Extensive local network and ability to generate new business.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a fast‑changing environment.
• Fluent in Dutch and French, with good command of English.
