Demand Fulfillment Specialist – Supply Chain

About the role

As a Demand Fulfillment Specialist within Alcon’s Supply Chain Planning team, you will manage the global inbound and outbound flow of products and oversee fair‑share allocation to over 100 countries from the Bornem Distribution Center. You will play a key part in ensuring product availability while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and external partners to resolve complex fulfillment and allocation challenges.
• Deploy released products daily, monitor aging inventory, and prevent obsolete stock.
• Create push orders for affiliates based on forecasts, inventory levels, in‑transit goods, lead times, and storage capacity.
• Prioritize tasks for QA, Warehouse, and Export teams to avoid stockouts and backorders.
• Optimize transportation modes and container utilization by consolidating incoming products from multiple suppliers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; no specific field required.
• Experience in supply chain, planning, logistics, or a related operational environment.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret complex data and solve technical problems.
• Fluent written and verbal English; good understanding of Dutch is a strong plus.
• Proactive mindset with strong ownership and collaborative skills.

• Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• SAP.
