Data Scientist

About the role

We are looking for a Data Scientist to join COSMOTE Global Solutions’ analytics team. The role focuses on turning large, complex data sets into actionable insights that support business decisions and drive innovation across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze extensive datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy machine‑learning models and algorithms.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business challenges into data‑driven solutions.
• Create clear visualizations and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Maintain data quality and integrity throughout the analysis lifecycle.
• Continuously research and apply emerging data‑science techniques and technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 13 years of relevant IT experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Python or R programming.
• Machine‑learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and scikit‑learn.
• Data‑visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) is a plus.
