Freelance Senior Analytics Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Freelance Senior Analytics Manager to lead our analytics function in Belgium. The role will shape analytics strategy, guide a multidisciplinary team and deliver data‑driven insights that support senior leadership decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement analytics strategies aligned with business goals and KPIs.
• Lead a team of data analysts, BI developers and data scientists to produce high‑quality insights.
• Collaborate with C‑level executives and department heads to identify analytics opportunities.
• Design and manage enterprise‑wide analytics frameworks, including dashboards, reports and predictive models.
• Oversee data governance, quality and security to ensure reliable data.
• Extract, transform and load data using SQL, Python/R and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Work with data warehouses like Snowflake or Redshift.
• Mentor junior professionals and promote a culture of continuous learning.
• Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Optimize analytics processes for efficiency, scalability and performance.
• Manage analytics budgets, resources and project timelines.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in analytics or business intelligence, with at least 5 years in a management role.
• Proven track record of leading analytics teams and delivering impactful insights.
• Fluent in English and either French or Dutch.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
