Data Engineer – Telecom Data Pipelines

About the role

Data Wizards is seeking a motivated Data Engineer to join its consulting team and support a telecom client in building robust data pipelines. You will work on large‑scale datasets, ensuring data quality and delivering actionable insights that drive business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for telecom data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to structure and process data for analytics.
• Write efficient SQL queries and Python scripts to transform and analyze large datasets.
• Work with spatial data to extract insights from complex telecom information.
• Apply best practices for scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Support troubleshooting, optimization, and continuous improvement of data workflows.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 1‑3 years of experience in data engineering or a related consulting role.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage stakeholders.
• Problem‑solver mindset with a proactive, “can‑do” attitude.
• Fluent in English; native Dutch or French is a plus.
