Data Centre Technician – Belgium

About the role

EOS IT Solutions is seeking motivated Data Centre Technicians to join its Belgium data‑centre team. You will work hands‑on with compute, storage and networking equipment, ensuring the infrastructure runs smoothly in a fast‑paced, mission‑critical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy new hardware (servers, storage, networking) to expand data‑centre capacity.
• Perform physical repairs, upgrades and re‑configurations on existing infrastructure.
• Identify and resolve hardware, connectivity and configuration issues.
• Relocate or re‑configure equipment to support operational changes.
• Decommission and recycle outdated equipment in line with company policies.
• Execute network maintenance tasks, including cabling and port testing.
• Use hardware/software tools and automation workflows for daily operations.
• Maintain accurate records, asset tracking and configuration updates.
• Participate in 5S, continuous‑improvement initiatives and emergency response efforts.
• Adhere to safety, security and operational procedures while upholding EOS values.

Required profile

• Technical diploma or certification in electronics, IT hardware or a related field.
• Experience in data‑centre or IT‑hardware environments (preferred).
• Basic to intermediate computer skills and familiarity with network components.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions in English.
• Effective communication skills; able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Willingness to travel locally between data‑centre sites.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb (occasionally 100 lb) and work in confined, noisy, elevated‑temperature environments.
• Availability for an 8 × 7 shift framework as required.
