Data Analyst

About the role

Ayesa Digital is seeking a Data Analyst to join its international team and support high‑impact EU projects. You will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, analysing and visualising data from multiple sources to drive evidence‑based decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse datasets to identify trends, patterns and actionable insights.
• Create interactive dashboards and reports using data‑storytelling techniques, with defined refresh cadences and SLAs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and document methodologies.
• Implement data quality checks, validation rules and regular reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
• Perform statistical analysis and exploratory data analysis to support decision‑making.
• Partner with Data Engineers on data modelling (star/snowflake schemas) and contribute to a central metrics catalogue.
• Write, optimise and maintain complex SQL queries for extraction and transformation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in data analysis and manipulation of structured and unstructured datasets.
• Ability to work with large datasets and databases, ensuring data consistency.
• Strong communication skills to present insights to non‑technical audiences.
• Familiarity with basic machine‑learning concepts (regression, clustering, classification) for advanced analytics collaboration.
