React Native Developer

About the role

As a React Native Developer you will join a scrum team in the Multichannel domain, responsible for designing, building and operating digital application chains that span APIs, web and mobile solutions. You will combine hands‑on coding with technical leadership to deliver robust, secure and maintainable cross‑platform mobile applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain high‑quality mobile apps using React Native and TypeScript.
• Provide technical leadership on mobile architecture, reusable components and integration patterns.
• Assess requirements, identify risks and propose sustainable solutions balancing user value, speed, security and maintainability.
• Collaborate with backend teams on REST API contracts, authentication, error handling and performance troubleshooting.
• Contribute to shared UI patterns across mobile and web by working with Web Components.
• Build and improve GitLab CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, quality validation and deployment.
• Support iOS and Android release management, including development in a macOS environment.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of professional mobile application development experience.
• Strong knowledge of React Native, JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Practical experience with iOS and Android development lifecycles and macOS tooling.
• Understanding of REST APIs, security and performance considerations.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• Fluent spoken and written English; good French or Dutch is a plus.
