Cyber Security Analyst (Hybrid) – Brussels

About the role

Our client, a leading international organisation operating in a highly regulated environment, is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to join its security team in Brussels. The role is hybrid, combining on‑site collaboration with remote work, and focuses on protecting business and IT assets through risk assessment, secure design, and testing.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct security risk assessments and define security requirements for business and IT projects.
• Review and validate solution designs using secure‑by‑design principles.
• Define and support security testing activities, including penetration testing.
• Provide expertise across IAM, Application Security, Network Security, PKI/Cryptography, and Cloud Security.
• Develop and maintain security standards, policies, and best practices.
• Act as a trusted advisor to project teams, architects, engineers, and business stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in cyber security (10 + years for senior profiles).
• Experience in security risk management, application security, infrastructure security or security architecture.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Fluent in English.
