Cloud Engineer – SaaS Services (AWS)

About the role

MAINSYS is seeking a Cloud Engineer to support its SaaS offerings for MAINSYS solutions. You will work primarily with AWS to design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure that meets the needs of our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, maintain, and monitor cloud systems, infrastructure, and application deployments on AWS.
• Participate in SaaS implementation projects, defining requirements and selecting appropriate cloud architectures.
• Deploy infrastructure and applications in line with corporate policies and ensure security, reliability, and efficiency.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive patch‑management strategy, reviewing compliance reports.
• Analyze security events, manage incidents, and provide technical support to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Document processes, design procedures, and keep them up to date.
• Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies and best practices.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cloud Hosting Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role.
• Fluent French and proficient English; Dutch is a plus.
• Dynamic, problem‑solving, self‑taught, customer‑oriented with strong team spirit.

Required skills

• AWS cloud platform.
• Container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon EKS.
• Cloud service models and deployment models.
• Security, business continuity, and compliance management.
• Automation, orchestration, migration, and integration.
• Experience with cloud service providers, monitoring tools, programming languages, databases, storage systems, networking protocols, and information‑security tools.
