Hybrid and Multicloud Architect

About the role

A full-time, international role based in Antwerp, working remotely, for a cloud architect who designs hybrid and multicloud environments connecting on-premises systems with cloud platforms. The position leads a cloud landscape that performs today and scales for tomorrow, combining structure, security and flexibility.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement hybrid and multicloud architectures that meet business, security and compliance needs
• Lead cloud migrations end-to-end, from assessment to optimization
• Define and enforce cloud governance frameworks, policies and best practices
• Partner with teams to build architectures that improve performance, scalability and reliability
• Explore new technologies and turn them into practical solutions
• Optimize cloud usage and control costs through monitoring and continuous improvement
• Guide engineers and operations teams, manage vendors and negotiate cloud service agreements
• Maintain clear documentation and standards

Required profile

• Master's degree in IT, Information Security or a related field
• More than 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure and cloud architecture
• Experience designing hybrid and multicloud environments that avoid vendor lock-in
• Ability to communicate clearly, influence stakeholders and take ownership

Required skills

• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Platform
• Infrastructure automation: Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM or Pulumi
• Docker and Kubernetes
• Cloud security: IAM, encryption and Zero Trust
• Compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2 or GDPR
• Monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Azure Monitor or CloudWatch
• Certifications such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes or TOGAF strengthen the profile
