IT Project Manager - Meeting Rooms

About the role

Ypto NV, acting as recruiter for SNCB/NMBS, is hiring a hybrid IT Project Manager / Coordinator for its meeting rooms project, based near Brussels-South station. The project is a strategic IT initiative expected to grow significantly, with many rollout and refresh projects planned. The role ensures the structured, high-quality implementation and standardization of meeting room solutions across multiple locations while keeping project continuity and limiting disruption to existing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform site surveys and on-site requirements analyses for meeting room projects
• Carry out technical validation of proposed solutions and supporting infrastructure
• Ensure standardization of meeting room solutions across the organization
• Coordinate and manage the full project lifecycle from analysis to delivery
• Oversee project scope, planning, risks and budget during implementation
• Work with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to deliver projects successfully

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in electronics / electrical engineering or equivalent through experience
• At least 10 years of experience in a similar position
• Good oral and written knowledge of Dutch, French and English
• Willingness to travel regularly to SNCB stations and workshops across Belgium and occasionally to neighbouring countries
• BA4 / BA5 certification and PM² certification are recommended

• Structured cabling and fiber optic cabling
• Installation of low-voltage power boards and infrastructure, housing (racks, patch panels, ODF)
• Physical security systems
• Civil works and indoor/outdoor installation works
• IT and telecom networks (fixed and mobile), building automation
• ARAB / AREIVCA and site safety for installation work
