Café Manager – Lead Nordic‑Inspired Café Operations

About the role

As the Café Manager you will be the driving force behind an exceptional guest experience in our Nordic‑inspired café, seamlessly integrated within the ARKET store. You will lead daily operations, uphold brand standards, and nurture a warm, personalized atmosphere that reflects local culture and sustainability values.

Key responsibilities

• Create a welcoming and attractive café environment tailored to customer preferences.
• Lead recruitment, training, and development of the café team in partnership with the Store Experience Manager.
• Motivate the team to achieve sales targets while delivering service that aligns with brand standards.
• Oversee daily operations, including stock management, ordering, and adherence to the café concept.
• Champion ARKET’s brand values and culture in every customer interaction.
• Drive sustainability initiatives in line with company‑wide environmental goals.

Required profile

• Previous supervisory or management experience in a café, restaurant, or similar food‑and‑beverage setting.
• Strong knowledge of food & beverage health and safety standards.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a genuine passion for food and drink.
• Adaptable, flexible, and able to respond quickly to feedback, menu changes, and stock fluctuations.
• Excellent communication skills, both with customers and team members.
• Willingness to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluency in English; Dutch language skills are a plus.
