Business Data Analyst – Mid‑Level (Financial Services)

About the role

We are seeking a medior Business & Data Analyst to join a leading financial institution in Belgium. The analyst will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams, delivering data‑driven solutions within an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business units to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Design, develop and maintain SQL queries, data extracts and API integrations.
• Perform backend data analysis and support data‑warehouse reporting.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and help ensure timely delivery of sprint goals.
• Provide insights and visualisations that support decision‑making.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience as a Data Analyst.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, APIs and backend processes.
• Hands‑on experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Fluent in English and Dutch or French.
• Background in financial services and data‑warehouse environments.
