Business Controller – Finance & Controlling

About the role

As a Business Controller within Kuehne+Nagel’s Contract Logistics team, you will act as a trusted financial partner to site management. You will translate financial data into actionable insights that support strategic decisions, drive performance, and enable sustainable growth across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with site management to provide financial and operational insights for decision‑making.
• Lead monthly closing, forecasting, and annual budgeting processes.
• Analyse and challenge customer contracts, pricing models, and business cases.
• Validate the financial impact of operational changes and investment projects.
• Support strategic initiatives, including commercial proposals and investment analysis.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in finance or controlling, preferably in a business‑facing role.
• Understanding of logistics cost structures, KPIs, and operational drivers.
• Ability to act as a trusted business partner and confidently challenge stakeholders.
• Strong analytical thinking combined with a pragmatic, solution‑oriented approach.
• High ownership, proactivity, and comfort working in dynamic, international environments.
