Backend Java Engineer (SpringBoot, Kafka, Kubernetes)

About the role

We are looking for a solid Java/SpringBoot developer to join our Engineering Enablement team. You will work on the Core Platform, a service‑agnostic foundation that simplifies microservice development and operational deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test software components using Java, Spring, and SpringBoot.
• Enrich the platform SDK to improve application resiliency, availability, and integrity.
• Provide technical assistance and resolve issues reported by integration and qualification teams.
• Analyse system requirements, performance, security and deployment aspects, especially containerisation and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Contribute to technical feasibility studies and propose suitable system solutions.
• Maintain and create technical documentation, system guides, and operating procedures.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Java and the Spring ecosystem.
• Hands‑on knowledge of SpringBoot for building microservices.
• Familiarity with Kafka messaging technology.
• Experience working with containers and Kubernetes for deployment and monitoring.
• Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to work autonomously.
