About the role
The Assistant – Human Resources provides essential administrative support to the HR team at a busy airport hotel. You will handle daily communications, maintain employee records, and ensure smooth onboarding and compliance processes.
Key responsibilities
- Answer phone calls, record messages, and manage office correspondence.
- Create, file, and maintain applicant interview documentation and employment applications.
- Audit and coordinate distribution of paychecks and process I‑9 verification forms.
- Set up new employee personnel files and update employee bulletin boards.
- Post required legal and regulatory notices for all staff.
- Follow company safety, security, and appearance policies while maintaining confidentiality.
- Assist colleagues to ensure proper coverage and prompt guest service.
- Enter and retrieve work‑related information using computer systems.
- Perform light physical tasks such as moving objects up to 10 lb.
- Carry out additional duties as requested by supervisors.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least one year of related HR or administrative experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
- No specific license or certification needed.
