Account Executive – B2B Software Sales

About the role

We are looking for an Account Executive to drive B2B sales of our award‑winning software solutions to medium‑sized enterprises. You will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and managing the full sales cycle while collaborating with pre‑sales engineers and cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new prospects and grow existing customer accounts.
• Manage complex, consultative sales cycles from presentation to close.
• Deliver presentations that demonstrate how our solutions address business challenges.
• Work closely with pre‑sales engineers and other colleagues to progress opportunities.
• Communicate product developments to prospects and customers.
• Participate in remote and on‑site customer meetings.
• Collaborate with teams across territories and office locations.
• Handle opportunities generated by the Account Specialist team.
• Contribute to sales campaign planning and execution within your territory.
• Maintain an accurate pipeline of opportunities in the CRM system.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 4+ years of relevant sales experience, preferably in software or technology.
• Experience engaging senior business and technical stakeholders.
• Professional proficiency in Dutch and English.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance objectives.
• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team.
• Proactive, creative, and ownership‑driven mindset.
• Strong communication and active listening skills.
