Warehousing & Logistics Manager

About the role

The Warehousing & Logistics Manager will ensure the availability, movement and regulatory compliance of aircraft parts and tooling, supporting uninterrupted maintenance operations for Brussels Airlines. Reporting to the Head of Line & Light Maintenance, this role combines hands‑on leadership with deep aviation logistics expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day logistics lifecycle for aircraft parts and tooling across multiple storage sites (H41 & Machelen).
• Oversee warehousing and inventory control, guaranteeing stock accuracy, traceability and operational readiness.
• Manage global freight budget (~€12M), including time‑critical AOG shipments and logistics provider contracts.
• Ensure full compliance with customs, dangerous goods (IATA DGR), CBAM, export control and EASA/FAA regulations.
• Maintain audit‑ready documentation and liaise with authorities.
• Drive lean improvements, digitalisation, automation and data‑driven optimisation of KPIs such as inventory accuracy and on‑time delivery.
• Handle AOG situations outside office hours and supervise a team of approximately 20 full‑time employees.

Required profile

• Hands‑on, solution‑oriented leader with extensive experience in aviation logistics and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to manage large freight operations and lead a sizable warehouse team.
• Strong analytical mindset to use data insights for process optimisation.

• IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) knowledge.
