About the role

The European Institute of Professional Intelligence Officers (EIPIO) seeks a volunteer Social Media Manager to help amplify its content and membership value across professional networks. This remote position requires 1–2 hours per week and focuses on quality, strategic communication rather than high‑volume posting.

Key responsibilities

• Adapt weekly European Intelligence Review articles into engaging LinkedIn posts that convey the core argument.
• Highlight member‑facing resources such as competency standards, the ECIP credential, and training materials to attract prospective members.
• Maintain a consistent posting schedule on the EIPIO organisation page and support the personal profile of the lead communicator when appropriate.
• Engage thoughtfully with comments, fostering conversations with interested professionals.

Required profile

• Demonstrated familiarity with the European intelligence, security, or risk professional community.
• Excellent written English and an instinct for what resonates with this niche audience.
• Ability to work independently with minimal briefing.
• Understanding of LinkedIn as a professional credibility platform.
• Discretion regarding operational security considerations.
• Background in intelligence, security studies, risk, or related fields is strongly preferred.
