UX Designer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced UX Designer to join a client’s digital team and shape intuitive, accessible, and user‑centred digital solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and developers to deliver seamless experiences across web and mobile platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct user research, interviews, surveys, focus groups and usability testing to uncover user needs and business goals.
• Translate research findings into user‑centred design concepts, wireframes, prototypes and high‑fidelity mockups.
• Adopt a mobile‑first approach when creating low‑ and high‑fidelity designs.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers and stakeholders to ensure design concepts are implemented correctly.
• Review applications for compliance with WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards and UX best practices.
• Maintain and evolve the organisation’s design system for consistency across products.
• Communicate design decisions clearly and build strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing UX for web and mobile applications.
• Strong knowledge of user research techniques, usability testing and interaction design.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in Dutch and French.
