Support Engineer – French Speaking

About the role
The Support Engineer – French speaking provides both on‑site and remote IT assistance for retail and operational locations. You ensure continuity of daily activities by maintaining point‑of‑sale systems, payment terminals, network connectivity, printers and other peripherals.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver hands‑on and remote support for cash registers, POS, scanners and Bancontact payment terminals.
- Perform on‑site interventions when issues cannot be resolved remotely, coordinating with external partners for hardware problems.
- Participate in store renovation and IT rollout projects, coordinating on‑site activities with internal teams and vendors.
- Maintain ticket documentation from creation to closure and ensure proper follow‑up.
Required profile
- First‑line IT support experience.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Ability to work independently and manage day‑to‑day tasks.
- Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
