Strategic Buyer II

About the role

Sabca is looking for a Strategic Buyer II to lead procurement and outsourcing activities for production and non‑production goods. The role ensures optimal stock levels, prevents supply‑chain disruptions and supports the company’s aerospace programmes from its Brussels office.

Key responsibilities

• Manage category‑wide contracts, negotiate pricing and terms, and monitor supplier performance.
• Develop and implement procurement policies, procedures and optimisation initiatives.
• Coordinate sourcing for high‑complexity items critical to production continuity.
• Perform spend analysis, budget tracking and trend reporting across multiple cost centres.
• Advise senior leadership on category developments and cost implications.
• Lead tactical procurement projects, including tenders and process improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in strategic sourcing or category management, preferably in aerospace or high‑tech manufacturing.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret complex spending data.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating cross‑functional teams.
