Solution Architect – Customer Experience Solutions

About the role

The Customer Experience Solutions domain at SNCB is responsible for all customer‑facing IT systems, including commercial channels, passenger information, and station facilities. As a Solution Architect you will define and evolve the enterprise‑level architecture for this domain, aligning business capabilities with people, processes, data and technology.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate on the corporate business capability map and translate it into target state architectures.
• Define road‑maps together with portfolio management based on business needs.
• Guide project teams to ensure solutions adhere to the reference architecture, IT vision and strategy.
• Validate solution designs, monitor implementation, and share architectural knowledge across teams.
• Analyse epics, assess risks, propose alternatives and re‑engineer where necessary.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Informatics, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a solution architect.
• Strong understanding of modern architectural paradigms and their practical application.
