Software Engineer – Logistics Automation & .NET

About the role

Join a leading automation solutions provider focused on intralogistics and e‑commerce. As a Software Engineer you will develop cutting‑edge .NET Core applications that power global automated systems, while also participating in technical analysis and on‑site commissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop backend applications in .NET Core within an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Create UML diagrams, flowcharts and interface specifications from business requirements.
• Translate complex automation needs into functional designs and robust code.
• Write and validate test plans, conduct simulations and emulations.
• Perform on‑site commissioning and system integration together with engineering teams.
• Produce comprehensive user documentation for deployment and lifecycle management.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in C# and .NET Core backend development.
• Strong background in Windows or Linux environments using object‑oriented programming.
• Hands‑on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMWare, Hyper‑V or Docker.
• Degree in Computer Science, Applied Informatics, Electronics or equivalent experience.
• Analytical, solution‑oriented mindset and willingness to travel for on‑site commissioning in Belgium and abroad.
• Fluent in Dutch or French with good English proficiency.

What we offer
